🌻 We will be spending the day with our family in Kansas.

🌴🌊 We haven't really made any announcements regarding our winter travel plans, but we are pleased to announce we will be spending the winter in FLORIDA this year. We will be attending the Tampa RV Show for the first time and look forward to meeting other RVers.🌴🌊
😺 Ramsey is definitely looking forward to the warmer weather in Florida, he is defiantly not a fan of cold weather.

💎 Laying at the bottom of Red Mountain, you will find Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a very poplar place to stop when driving the Million Dollar Highway between Ouray, Colorado and Silverton, Colorado. We found this area to be one of the most scenic places we've ever found in Colorado. No matter which direction you look from this lake, all you see is picturesque beauty.
🗻 Elevation 9,600 feet
📷 The water contained within Crystal Lake is so vibrant and clean. We were able to see several ducks and water fowl making use of the lake. We highly recommend making the trek to Crystal Lake. You will not be disappointed!

💎 Ouray Hot Springs boasts several different pools. There is an Overlook Pool, Hot Pool, Shallow Pool, Lap Lanes, and Activity Pool. You can check their Facebook page to see the current temperatures of all the pools.
💦 The pools are geothermal heated mineral pools and most of the water comes from Box Canyon.
📷 This is one of the most beautiful hot springs we've ever visited. The view and atmosphere is absolutely amazing. We opted to go on a week day to avoid the crowds and we were not disappointed. There were always ample lounging chairs and seating areas available.

🚗 63 mile Scenic Byway drive through the national forest
💎 The area is about 500 square miles and is the world's largest flat-topped mountain.
🗻 Elevation at Grand Mesa is 10,000 feet and the highest elevation is 11,332.
📷 Land's End Road is a 12 mile half paved, half dirt road off of the Scenic Byway. At the end is an old ranger observatory.
😍 At the old ranger observatory there were dozens of chipmunks. We spent a lot of time there taking in the amazing view and watching the chipmunks run all over the place.
😬 Being from Kansas, we had never seen Mormon Crickets before. The picture does not do its size justice. They are quite large and don't seem to have any fear of humans. It was crazy to see so many jumping everywhere.

🚗 25-mile stretch of U. S. Route 550 that runs through the San Juan Mountains, south from Ouray, Colorado to Silverton, Colorado
💎 One of America's most scenic drives. The road is mainly open all year round, but winter weather may cause restrictions and closures due to dangerous weather conditions.
🗻 The highest point is 11,018 feet at the peak of Red Mountain Pass, in the San Juan Mountain Range.
⚒ The Million Dollar Highway was originally built as a narrow wagon road in 1882. The road cost approximately $10,000 per square mile at the time. The route was then paved in the 1920s.
💦 Bear Creek Falls: is located off of highway 550 (the Million Dollar highway) just south of Ouray at the overlook area.
