Real question: Have you ever witnessed a real-life wildlife rescue happen right in front of your eyes? 🌊🐢🚨

We were walking the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier when the entire deck came to a standstill. Right below us in the emerald water, a wild sea turtle had gotten hurt and needed urgent help.

Watch the moment the amazing rescue team deployed their hoop nets to carefully pull this beautiful creature all the way up the pier pilings to safety. It is heartbreaking to see marine life injured, but it was incredibly inspiring to watch the local community and the experts from @nbstcc jump into action so quickly to save its life. 🫱‍🫲🏼❤️

We took a trip down to the western tip of Santa Ro

We took a trip down to the western tip of Santa Rosa Island to explore Fort Pickens, and it completely blew us away. Walking inside the fort walls, through those massive brick archways, and exploring the giant cannons feels like stepping straight back into the 1800s. 🧱🕵️‍♂️

We made our way out to the top tier to see the outdoor artillery and were rewarded with an absolutely stunning panoramic view of Pensacola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. 🌊💣 It is incredible to see how well-preserved this fortress is, standing strong against the elements for nearly two centuries. 💨🦅

If you love a mix of raw nature, hidden history, and epic coastal views, this spot is an absolute nomad must-visit. 🚙✨

When you see water this turquoise, do you actually relax, or do you spend the first hour convinced someone dumped a giant bottle of Gatorade in the Gulf? 🌊🍹😂

We went down to Opal Beach expecting an untouched paradise of sugar-white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. 🏝️💎 What we DIDN'T expect was to be aggressively side-eyed by a local celebrity. 👀🛑

This gorgeous Great Blue Heron landed right near our setup, and I swear he stood there analyzing my beach twirl like a harsh reality TV judge. 🪶🎭 If looks could kill, this majestic bird would have taken us out right on the shoreline. 🦩🏝️🏖️

Even when mother nature keeps you humble, you can't deny how incredible it is to share the beach with such awesome wildlife. 🥹🤍🙌

🏋️‍♂️ Spending months working hard on the gym floor means you get completely used to controlled temperatures and air-conditioned training routines.

🫠 Then you step onto the hot pavement for your first 5K race in a long time, and the searing summer heat instantly launches a massive system update on your time goals.

🏁 The lungs are working overtime, the pacing is totally thrown off, and you quickly realize that outdoor road running is a whole different type of endurance test.

💪 It definitely wasn't as fast or as smooth as I wanted it to be out there, but I stubbornly refused to stop pushing.

🏆 Walked away completely drained, but checked the final timesheet and somehow still managed to take 11th in my age group. But that 5K was just the warmup... time to start training for a 10K!

For us... it's Buck! 😅 I thought we'd spend a couple of hours at the National Naval Aviation Museum... Buck probably would've been happy if we stayed all day. 🤣

This museum is FREE and absolutely massive. From historic aircraft and flight simulators to 4D rides, movies, guided tours, and even a restaurant, there's truly something for everyone.

You could easily spend 2–3 days here and still not see everything!

One thing to know before you go: the museum is located on an active military base, so you'll need to complete a quick background check before entering.

✈️ If you're lucky, you might even catch the Blue Angels practicing overhead!

🌊 Bonus: The Pensacola Lighthouse is right across from the museum if you're up for climbing 177 steps to an incredible view!
