Full-time RVers traveling the U.S. with our Bengal Cat Ramsey

📍Devil's Punchbowl via Spruce Railroad Trail
📌Olympic National Park
🤳😂What they didn’t mention about Devil’s Punchbowl: Finally captured the Devil’s Punchbowl without a dozen strangers in the shot! It was an Olympic-level effort of timing, strategic positioning, and pretending to tie my shoe for 15 minutes. The final photo is pure magic!
💙🥤The water was so blue it looked like someone dumped a whole bottle of blue Gatorade into Lake Crescent.
❄️🧊Nature’s way of saying, “Stay hydrated, but also maybe don’t jump in—it's freezing!”

📹 Check out the 2 videos at the end. A tour of the Tree House and the 2 Owls 🦉 🦉
🌟Discovered:
👣🍁 Wandered the dreamy Sawmill & Big Maple Trail — 100% moss, 0% cell signal, infinite fairy tale feels.
🦉👀 Met a wise local — wouldn’t share his secrets, but gave me the look.
🌼Daisy giving me serious “I’m the queen of the forest” vibes.
🍄 Mushrooms stacked like a forest buffet — no idea if I should eat them or just admire.
🦌A deer, probably judging my lack of camouflage skills.
🏡😂 Found a cozy little treehouse Airbnb (aka the Stump House) — no WiFi, just owls and ancient vibes. 🌳
👣💚 Took a trail that could double as a fairy-tale runway — a little dirt, a lot of dreams.
🌊 Found crystal-clear water so pretty, I thought I’d accidentally walked into a painting.
🥾 Stats:
 • Distance: ~3.6 miles
 • Elevation gain: ~544 m
 • Rating: Moderate
✨ Highlights:
 • 🌊 Tranquil stop at Beach House with forest-meets-water views

🏡 BREAKING: We bought a new house! 😍 😂 Ok 🏡 BREAKING: We bought a new house! 😍
😂 Okay fine… it’s a giant tree stump with a roof, but hey — it’s got amazing curb appeal and premium forest vibes. Tons of natural light (through all the holes) and zero HOA drama.
📹 Check out the 2 videos at the end and a tour of Stump House.
🌟We hiked the Stump House via Sawmill and Big Maple Trail and stumbled upon:
🦉 An owl whose stare could roast you better than any campfire
🐌 A slug who was either greeting us… or issuing a slow-motion challenge
🌼 A flower that’s clearly ready for its influencer era
🏚️ And of course, THE legendary Stump House — more character than most Airbnbs, and probably less haunted
👍 Pro tip: If you get lost, just follow the moss—it’s like nature’s version of sticky notes. (Just don’t blame me if it leads you in circles!) 🍄🗺️

📍Heart O' the Forest Trail! 📌Olympic Nationa 📍Heart O' the Forest Trail!

🎥 Check out the video at the end, of the squirrel eating the mushroom!
✨ Towering trees, moss-covered logs, crystal-clear creeks, and even a squirrel snacking on a mushroom like a woodland chef.
🍄🐿️The best part of the trail? Hands down, the squirrel stealing the spotlight — and probably the mushrooms too!😂
🌿🍂Not every trail has to be your favorite, but there's always something beautiful to find in nature.
🐿️😂 Like this little mushroom connoisseur who clearly takes forest-to-table very seriously. He looked me dead in the eye like, 'This is a $200 truffle, please give me space.'
🌿 Leaves bigger than our hands
🌳 Giant trees that make you feel so small

🌊🌲✨ Cape Flattery — Our Favorite Spot on 🌊🌲✨ Cape Flattery — Our Favorite Spot on Earth ✨🌲🌊
😍🎨We made it to Cape Flattery, aka the edge of the world — and no, this isn’t a movie set, a green screen, or a Bob Ross painting. It’s REAL. And it’s drop-dead gorgeous.
📹 Check out the videos at the end...this place is stunning!
📍Cape Flattery Trail: Where the World Ends & Wonder Begins
📌Located on Makah Tribal Land near Neah Bay, WA
😍🌍There are beautiful places… and then there’s Cape Flattery. 🧭 Nestled at the very tip of the Pacific Northwest, this stunning corner of Washington feels like the edge of the world — and we’re convinced it might just be the most breathtaking place we’ve ever seen.
💙🌊 From the moment you step onto the trail, you're surrounded by lush, moss-draped trees, the sound of seabirds overhead, and the smell of ocean mist in the air. 🌿🪶Then suddenly, the forest opens up… and you're greeted with jaw-dropping views of dramatic sea cliffs, sea stacks rising from the ocean, and endless blue stretching as far as the eye can see.
🌊😎Whether you're watching waves crash below the overlook or catching a golden sunset over the water, every moment here feels unreal
🌅🦅. It’s peaceful. Wild. Untouched. And absolutely unforgettable.
💫✨Cape Flattery isn’t just a place — it’s a feeling. A reminder of how small we are in the best possible way. And it’s hands down our favorite adventure so far.
👍 Tip: If you’re ever in Washington State and want to feel both awestruck and slightly attacked by nature’s beauty — go here. Just be warned: all your future hikes will feel... underwhelming. Sorry in advance. 😅

📍Marymere Falls
📌Olympic National Park, WA
🎥 Check out the 2 videos at the end!
🌿😂Came for the peaceful forest vibes… stayed because the crowd in front of the waterfall wouldn’t move.
😂🚿A girl was just standing in the waterfall. Not near it. Not taking a cute pic in front of it. In it. Like she was part of the scenery. I can't make this up.
😂Marymere Falls is stunning — like “desktop wallpaper” levels of pretty — but don’t expect to have it to yourself unless you show up at sunrise or bring snacks to wait out the photo line.
💧 Still 10/10 worth the short hike. Just you, nature, and 47 of your new closest friends.
🏞️ Nestled near Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park winds through moss-draped old-growth forest, crosses charming wooden bridges, and ends at a stunning 90-foot waterfall that feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale.

📍Third Beach Trail to Taylor Point 📌 Olympic 📍Third Beach Trail to Taylor Point
📌 Olympic National Park, WA
🎥 Make sure to check out the video at the end! Unique trail with ropes and ladders.
🪢 Ropes, Roots & Sea Stacks — AKA Leg Day, Arm Day, and Therapy
🌟The journey starts with a peaceful stroll through towering Sitka spruce and ends with breathtaking views where the cliffs meet the Pacific. Be prepared for a little adventure — rope-assisted climbs, driftwood scrambles, and tide-dependent sections make this more than your average walk in the woods. 💪
🧗‍♀️Adventure starts past the beach!
🪜Rope climbs & ladders take you up steep bluffs — these are not technical, but they require upper body strength and caution, especially when wet or muddy
🪢Multiple rope sections assist with both ascents and descents near Taylor Point
🧗‍♂️Buck climbed the rope ladder like a true Boy Scout — calm, focused, and definitely showing off a little. (Buck is actually an Eagle Scout)
🧗‍♀️ RaeLynn, on the other hand… let’s just say going up was fine. Coming down? That was a whole different emotional journey. At one point she said, “Why is the ground getting farther away the lower I go?” 😂
🌳🥪 Hike Third Beach to Taylor Point for a forest stroll, rope climbing like a ninja, and a tree living its best life on a rock. Snacks mandatory. Adventure guaranteed!
🌄Reaching Taylor Point feels like discovering a hidden world—a peaceful cove tucked between sea stacks and forest, ideal for catching your breath and enjoying a snack before the return hike."
🌟TRAIL STATS:
 🔁Trail Type: Out-and-back
 📏 Distance: ~6.4 miles round trip (3.2 mi one-way)
 ⛰️ Elevation Gain: ~905
 ⚙️ Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging
🌟Trail Highlights:
 🌲 Coastal rainforest trail

📍Second Beach Trail Guide & Highlights 📌Olym 📍Second Beach Trail Guide & Highlights
📌Olympic National Park, WA
📹 Check out the video at the end of the rock tree.
🌿🥾🌊The hike to Second Beach may be short, but it’s packed with variety and beauty. The trail starts with a peaceful walk through dense coastal forest, where moss carpets everything in sight, and the earthy scent of cedar and fir fills the air. You’ll descend a gentle, well-maintained path that leads to a dramatic opening: the wild Pacific Ocean crashing against offshore sea stacks, scattered driftwood, and sweeping views of the rugged Olympic coastline.
😂🤣 “It’s all fun and scenic until your wife says, ‘Just one more photo’ for the 12th time… from the same log.”😂🤣
😂 “We stopped so many times to take pictures, even the squirrels were like, ‘Are y’all hiking or moving in?’” The tree rock where people have stacked rocks to balance was out favorite.
🗺️Trail Length: 2.2 miles
 ⏱️Difficulty: Easy
🚶‍♂️Trail Type: Out-and-back with some gentle inclines
🌿Terrain: Forested paths, moss-covered trees, and coastal boardwalks
🏞️Highlights:
 • Stunning ocean views at the beach and along the cliffs
 • Lush old-growth forests perfect for nature lovers and photographers
 • Rocky tide pools to explore at low tide
 • Perfect spot for picnics, beachcombing, and wildlife spotting (keep an eye out for seabirds and maybe even seals!
💡Tips Before You Go:
✔️ Check tide schedules — low tide = best tidepooling!
✔️ Bring layers — coastal weather can shift fast
✔️ Arrive early for easier parking
✔️ Don’t forget your camera — this place is photographer heaven 📸
