Full-time RVers traveling the U.S. with our Bengal Cat Ramsey

📸 Went to Bridal Veil Falls Trail for some epic 📸 Went to Bridal Veil Falls Trail for some epic pics… ended up with a full-on waterfall shower instead. 💦
🎥 The best part at the end - wait to see the video of the stunning waterfalls.
🌊 Note to self: waterfalls don’t care if you’re trying to be Insta-famous—they’re coming in for the splash zone!
🌪️ Spent more time playing dodgeball with the mist than actually taking pictures.
📷 At one point, my camera looked like it took a dip, and honestly, so did I.
😂 Who knew getting the perfect angle meant auditioning for ‘Soaked and Sorry’?
💧 Pro tip: if you want natural HDR (Hydrated, Dripping, and Ready), just stand close enough to Bridal Veil Falls.
💁‍♀️ Bonus: your photos come with authentic water droplets and your hair looks like you just ran a marathon through a sprinkler.
😎 Would I do it again? Absolutely.
🦸‍♂️ But next time, I’m bringing a waterproof camera, a towel, and maybe a snorkel.
🐌 Oh, and shoutout to this chill banana slug I met on the trail — total forest superstar! 🌿

🗺 Trail Stats:
📍 Location: Bridal Veil Falls Trail
 📌 Gold Bar, WA
📏 Distance: 4.3 miles round trip
⬆ Elevation Gain: 1,066 ft (aka glutes = activated 🍑)
✨ Trail Highlights:
 💦 Multi-tiered waterfall = certified main character
 🌲 Enchanted forest vibes
 🐿 Occasional squirrel hecklers
📸 Photo ops so good your phone storage will revolt
💡 Trail Tip:
Bring snacks — not just for energy, but to bribe your legs to keep moving.
🦵🍫 Forgiveness may arrive around mile 3.

📍 Seattle, Washington 📌 Downtown ⏭️ Swi 📍 Seattle, Washington
📌 Downtown
⏭️ Swipe to the end to catch the videos of our Seattle adventures!
🌲🥾 Normally you’ll find us deep in the woods — chasing mountain views, swatting mosquitoes, arguing about whether we’re lost or just “taking the scenic route,” and stopping every five minutes to photograph trees like we’ve never seen one before. 📸🌲
😎☕ We hit pause on the pine needles and wandered into the city — where the only trails we followed were coffee lines and the crowd at Pike Place.
🧼 Gum Wall — Equal parts iconic and disgusting. We spent five minutes debating whether to contribute to the biohazard or just document it. RaeLynn made the executive call and stuck her gum — a bold move for tradition (and questionable hygiene). Buck chose to observe, not participate. You're welcome, public health. 😷📸
🐟 Pike Place Market — A sensory circus of neon signs, fresh flowers, flying fish, and shouting vendors. We watched a salmon soar through the air with more grace than we’ve ever managed on a trail run.
☕ The Original Starbucks — 45 minutes in line for coffee we could’ve grabbed two blocks away… but hey, now we’ve got the photo. Worth it? You decide.
📸 Final Thoughts: City life is a different kind of wild. No bug spray required, but just as many “did you see that?!” moments.
🏙️💙Back to the woods soon — but Seattle, you were a vibe.

🥵 Survived Heather Lake Trail, WA — aka Natur 🥵 Survived Heather Lake Trail, WA — aka Nature’s StairMaster (because apparently, Mother Nature hates stairs but loves hills)
📹 Swipe to the end for 2 heather lake videos!
🥾 Went in looking for some zen by the lake... ended up starring in my very own leg-burning, sweat-dripping reality show called “Are We There Yet?”
💪 Thought, “Easy peasy, this’ll be a breeze.” Nature’s reply: “Hold my roots... and my steep, never-ending hills.”
⛰️ The hills were so steep, I’m pretty sure the trail was just messing with me. I half expected a squirrel to pop out and laugh.
🔥 Legs were screaming louder than my playlist, but pride? Still hanging on by a thread.
🥾 Passed slow hikers like a mountain ninja... then dramatically gasped, “Are we there yet?” for the pure theatrics of it. Even warriors need their moments.
🌲 The view at the top? Like the universe saying, “Yeah, you earned this snack break.” Spoiler: I crushed those snacks.
🏆 Heather Lake, you’re one tough boss battle — but I’m ready for the next level. Bring on the hills, Mother Nature. I’m coming for you.

💦 Happy Waterfall Wednesday! 😅 Wallace Falls 💦 Happy Waterfall Wednesday!
😅 Wallace Falls via Woody Trail — because who doesn't love a scenic waterfall hike… with a side of accidental cardio.
📹 Stunning waterfalls ahead - swipe to the end for the video
Here’s my TED Talk:
🥵 Trail name: “Woody” — which I now believe stands for “Would-you-like-to-question-your-life-choices?”
😅Trail name: “Woody” — which I now believe stands for “Would-you-like-to-question-your-life-choices?”
🌿 First half: Me: “This is so serene. Birds are singing. Trees are hugging me. I'm basically in a Patagonia ad.”
🪜 Second half: Me: “Why am I scaling an endless staircase built by a caffeinated squirrel with trust issues?” 🐿️😩
 👟 Every switchback:
Pretends to tie shoe — not because it’s untied, but because dignity has left the building and I need 45 seconds of oxygen.
💦 Upper Falls:
👀 Finally got there. Looked at the view.
 😍 Said out loud: “Wow.”
📝Said under my breath: “This waterfall better be writing me a thank-you card.”
<<<---------------------->>>
📍 Trail Stats: Wallace Falls via Woody Trail
📌 Wallace Falls State Park ( Gold Bar, WA)
 • Distance: 4.7 miles round trip 🔁
 • Elevation Gain: 1,410 ⬆️
 • Trail Type: Out & Back 🗺️
 • Difficulty: “Moderate” (translation: your quads will scream, but respectfully) 🫠
🌟 Trail Highlights:
 • 🌲 Lush forest scenery — 10/10, would get lost in again
 • 🌊 Three stunning waterfalls (Lower, Middle & Upper) — each one more dramatic than my knees
 • 🦋 Woodland vibes — birds chirping, mossy trees, fairy tale realness
 • 📸 Epic photo ops — every 10 feet = “wait I need a pic here”
 • 💪 Solid workout disguised as a casual hike — rude but effective

❓Why do waterfalls always look calm and majestic ❓Why do waterfalls always look calm and majestic, but chasing them turns me into a wheezing mess? 🤷‍♂️💦
🎦 The waterfall video at the end is a must-see!
📍🏞️ Snoqualmie Falls Trail Adventure
📌 Location: Snoqualmie Falls, WA
😲💦 Snoqualmie Falls is 268 feet tall — that’s 100 feet taller than Niagara Falls!
😅💦 Thought I was going on a peaceful nature stroll... ended up in a full-blown woodland stairmaster. Worth it for the view though. Would hike again (after a week of recovery and maybe a new pair of knees).
🌧️🌲 Trail Motto: “Let’s walk downhill like majestic forest deer, and crawl back up like wheezing goblins.”
🥾 Trail Type: Out & back
📏 Distance: ~1.4 miles round trip
📈 Elevation Gain: ~331 ft (aka: just enough to humble you)
🕒 Time: 45 mins–1 hour (longer if you stop for 37 waterfall selfies)
✨ Trail Highlights:
💦 MASSIVE waterfall energy — Mother Nature flexing on us all
🌿 PNW jungle aesthetic, complete with suspiciously bold squirrels
👶 Family-friendly (if your kids have quads of steel and never whine)
🐶 Dog-friendly! (Leash required — keeping tails wagging and trails safe)
☕ Coffee shop at the top = reward for surviving the glute gauntlet
💡 Pro Tips:
📸 Your phone will absolutely fail to capture how epic the falls look. You’ll still post 17 blurry photos anyway.
🩳 No matter what you wear, it will be wrong. It’s a Washington rule.
🔥 Final rating: 10/10
Would hike again. Will still complain the whole way back up. 💀

❓How many plants does it take to throw a garden ❓How many plants does it take to throw a garden party? Just one—but they’ll totally leaf you impressed!
📹 Check out the 2 videos at the end bursting with floral magic!
📍 VanDusen Botanical Garden
📌 Vancouver, BC
🌿 VanDusen Botanical Garden: Where Plants and People Both Try to Look Cool 🌸 Step inside VanDusen and suddenly you’re in a world where flowers throw shade, trees silently judge your sneaker game, and squirrels are low-key running the place like tiny, furry CEOs.
🌷 The flowers? A colorful squad that’s way more put together than your last Zoom meeting outfit. Roses smelling like they just stepped out of a spa, tulips popping off like they own the runway, and those mysterious bushes that seem to whisper, “You’re not worthy.”
🌦️ Weather? Classic Vancouver—sunny one minute, “surprise” drizzle the next. Bonus: The garden looks even more magical when you’re trying to dodge raindrops like an overenthusiastic ninja.
🌳 Did you know VanDusen Botanical Garden spans 55 acres and features over 7,500 plant species? Yeah, it’s basically a plant city with better landscaping.
📸 Pro tip: Bring your camera, but beware. The plants have better angles than you. Also, don’t try to outshine the rhododendrons—they don’t mess around.
💬 Come for the flowers, stay because you got distracted chasing a butterfly and now you’re officially lost in paradise.

❓Would you survive the Capilano Suspension Bridge?"
1. I was born for this.
2. I’ll just Google it from home.
📍 Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (Part 2)
📌 Vancouver, BC
🎉 Fun fact time: Back in 2010, RaeLynn ended up here thanks to her friend Julie—who got picked on "Let’s Make a Deal" with Wayne Brady (yes, that Wayne Brady 🎤🎭).
🎬 They were filming at the Tropicana in Vegas, Julie channeled her inner game-show queen, maneuvered her way into a free trip to Canada, and said, “Hey RaeLynn, pack your bags.”
😱Next thing you know, they’re in Capilano, clinging to a rope bridge like it’s an emotional support vine.
👭Moral of the story? Bring your bestie to game shows. Let them do the work. Reap the Canadian rewards. 😎
⏫⏫⏫
😅 Majestic rainforest vibes, a bridge stretched 450 feet across, suspended 230 feet above the river, and your heart racing like it’s auditioning for a thriller movie.
🌉 450 feet of “who talked me into this” and 230 feet above a canyon of “I trusted Google Reviews too much.” 😳
📸 The photos? Could’ve been amazing... if my hands weren’t shaking like a chihuahua on espresso.
⏬⏬⏬
📜 Made it across? You get a certificate! Because nothing says "bravery" like a piece of paper proving you willingly crossed a glorified anxiety rope. Frame it next to your high school diploma—one of them required more screaming.
💡 Bonus Tips If You Go:💡
⏰ Go early to beat the crowds (and have your panic attack in peace)
📱📵 Don’t drop your phone unless you want to become part of the park
(RIP to the iPhones that came before you).
📸 Look confident for the photos. Cry later 😎😭🧍‍

❓Could YOU handle the Capilano Suspension Bridge ❓Could YOU handle the Capilano Suspension Bridge?
 1. Like a fearless forest ninja
  2. Like a squirrel having a panic attack
📍 Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (Part 1)
📌 Vancouver, BC
🎦⏭️ Check out the video at the end
🎓 Did You Know?
🛠️ Built in 1889, the original Capilano Bridge was basically “How to Build a Death Trap 101” — hemp rope and cedar planks. Someone said, “Hey, what if we made a sketchy bridge and called it a tourist attraction?” Spoiler: it worked. Now it’s been upgraded to steel cables so you won’t accidentally become a forest pancake.
🪵 “Capilano” means “beautiful river” in Squamish. Or as I like to call it, “the place where you pay to test your life insurance policy.”
🌐 Over 1.2 million people visit every year to scream quietly while trying to look calm on the wobbly bridge. Bonus points if you don’t drop your phone mid-panic.
🎄 At Christmas, the bridge lights up for Canyon Lights—think Hogwarts, but with more “please don’t fall” vibes.
🌳 The park has seven suspended footbridges in Treetops Adventure—some 100 feet high. Basically, if you survive the first bridge, nature says, “Hold my roots.”
🧗‍♂️ Cliffwalk is a narrow path bolted to a cliff because walking safely on solid ground is just too mainstream.
📜 It’s older than the Eiffel Tower and Lady Liberty’s torch, so you’re basically walking on historical wobbly legacy. Wear comfy shoes… and maybe a helmet.
💰 Privately owned since forever, which explains the world-class fudge and gift shop designed to steal your money faster than the bridge steals your breath.
😎🌉Ready to risk it all for the perfect selfie? Capilano Bridge: 100% adrenaline, 0% warranty.

🎥 Be sure to watch the 2 videos at the end - the flowers are stunning! 💐
🚗 Discover Pass? Yep, you need one. Worth it? Heck yes — it’s cheaper than therapy and comes with flowers.
🌿✨ Welcome to the most peaceful international hotspot in North America.
🏛️💁‍♀️ Literally where the U.S. and Canada hold hands under a 67-foot-tall arch of friendship. Built in 1921, because nothing says “we cool?” like a giant marble monument.
🌸 FLORAL WARNING: Side effects may include spontaneous twirling, frolicking, and severe smiling. Proceed with flower enthusiasm at your own risk.
💐 This place is basically Mother Nature’s VIP party — wild roses, lupines, daffodils, and enough blooms to make your allergies send a thank-you card.
🧠 Take a deep breath and just think about all the beautiful flowers.
📸 Insta-worthy? Yes.
🦋 Butterfly sightings? Very likely.
<<<---------------------->>>
📍Beach Cat Brewing
📌 Blaine, WA
🍺🐾 Post-flower frolic survival tip: swing by Beach Cat Brewing in Blaine, WA — because beach vibes + cat vibes = the purr-fect hangout.
🏖️🐱 Think salty sea air meets cozy brewery charm, with craft brews as chill as a cat napping in the sun.
🍻 Whether you crave hoppy IPAs or smooth stouts after a day of flower power, Beach Cat’s got your back — and maybe a furry friend on your lap.
🌊✨ Great beer, killer vibe, and a name that’s pure gold. What more could you want?
🌊✨ In short: great beer, killer atmosphere, and a name that instantly wins at life. What more could you want?
⏬️⏬️
🚐 Thanks for riding along on our adventures!
Next stop: epic views, dizzying heights, and just a little wobble... somewhere in Canada. 😉 Stay tuned!
