This is our first review of a Thousand Trails Park. For those of you unfamiliar with Thousand Trails, it is the largest provider of RV resorts and campgrounds in North America. It has over 80 locations in 22 states and British Columbia, Canada. We had the opportunity to stay at the Pio Pico resort in San Diego, CA. The park is broken up into two different areas, North and South. Most of the information can be found in our YouTube video above, but I wanted to quickly list the pros/cons and the amenities for both sides of the park.
Pros:
- Beautiful Area
- Proximity to San Diego (Park located just Southeast of San Diego)
- Lots of activities (SeaWorld, Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo)
Cons:
- Limited Wifi and Cell Coverage
- Buildings are older and not well maintained
- Most over the air antenna stations are in Spanish
